College of Business.

Responsibilities: The Academic Advisor/Retention Specialist is responsible for assisting assigned business students in the development of academic schedules appropriate for the stated educational goals of students and assisting in the development and implementation of a retention plan for the College of Business designed to assist students in progressing towards degree completion. The Academic Advisor/Retention Specialist assists in planning, organizing, and presenting individual and group advisement sessions for business students (including transfer and prospective students) and assists with Student Orientation, Advisement, and Registration Program (SOAR).

Responsibilities: assisting in planning, design, and construction of all capital projects and physical improvements undertaken by the University, ensuring that they meet state and federal regulations and procedures and are effectively managed from concept through planning, design, bidding, construction, and up to occupancy; assisting in the integration of sustainable design, a respect for the environment, and conservation of resources into every project the University undertakes; assisting in the selection and hiring of consultants engaged by the University for capital projects and physical improvements and overseeing the work of consulting firms and in-house design staff throughout these projects; this position helps manage the efficient use of space on campus by all departments and entities; assisting in developing long-range and detailed plans to meet the needs of the University, developing and overseeing budgets for construction projects, and assisting in managing the office of Planning, Design & Construction.

for Planning, Design, and Construction. 

Responsibilities: providing construction management of assigned projects within the University system, including coordinating all construction activity on these projects from programming and concept through occupant move-in;  in-house or through a consultant employed by the University to assist with the project; assisting with the selection of consultants engaged by the University, coordinating the work of the consulting firms throughout the project, and providing in-house technical and design support; assisting in the development of the campus master plan.
