Have you ever felt stuck? Like the system isn’t working for you, or that opportunities are just out of reach? Many people face challenges when it comes to financial security and career advancement.

One solution is to explore the path of entrepreneurship, which allows you to set your own hours, pursue passions and build a business from the ground up. Over the years, Missouri State University’s efactory has assisted thousands of entrepreneurs who chose this path.

While entrepreneurship opens doors that might seem closed, it’s not a get-rich-quick scheme. It’s challenging work to create a future that reflects your hard work and vision.

That’s why efactory offers a range of nationally-recognized business support services, talent development programs, and low or no-cost resources. By building extensive networks of partners, efactory has been able to create extensive programming that helps employees, job creators, entrepreneurs, and innovators, ultimately meeting the needs to develop, accelerate and provide support across the board to upskill the market.

Financial Management Series Offered throughout October

Building a strong financial foundation is crucial. This month, enroll in the Financial Management series. This three-part workshop delves into the essential aspects of running a business with your money in mind.

  • Understanding Your Financial Statements: Learn how to decipher your business’s financial health.
  • This workshop breaks down income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements into easy-to-understand concepts. You’ll be able to identify strengths and weaknesses, track your progress, and make informed decisions. This class will begin at 9 a.m., Oct. 16.
  • Cash Matters Most: Cash flow is the lifeblood of any business. This workshop teaches you how to manage your cash flow effectively. You’ll learn to forecast income and expenses, prioritize payments, and avoid cash crunches that can derail your business. This class will begin at 9 a.m., Oct. 23.
  • Planning & Predicting Your Financial Path: Take control of your business’s financial future. This workshop focuses on creating a financial plan and projections. You’ll learn to set realistic goals, analyze potential risks, and make informed decisions about financing and growth. This class will begin at 9 a.m., Oct. 30.
