1. What first inspired you to launch your podcast, and how did the idea take shape?
Velocity Banking Together started from our own journey of trying to understand money differently. My wife Michelle and I realized that traditional budgeting, debt payoff, and investing methods weren’t working for us long term. Once we discovered the Velocity Banking strategy and saw how it transformed our cash flow, we wanted to make it relatable and simple to understand for everyday families. What began as simple conversations at our kitchen table became a YouTube channel where we teach others through our real-life experience.
2. How would you describe the main theme or focus of your show?
At its core, our channel is about cash flow management with what you’ve got—helping people make their money move more efficiently, even without extra income. We focus on teaching everyday families how to use tools like lines of credit, debt velocity, cash flow index and dividend investing to take control of their finances. It’s part education, part real-life storytelling, and all about showing people what’s actually working for us.
3. Who do you consider your core audience, and what do you hope listeners take away from each episode?
Our core audience is everyday working people—couples, parents, and young professionals—who are tired of living paycheck to paycheck and want their money to start working for them. We especially connect with people in our community who’ve never been exposed to these financial concepts before. Our hope is that every viewer walks away feeling empowered, not intimidated, to take the next step toward debt freedom and wealth building.
4. Can you share a bit about your personal journey—from your first episode to where you are now?
Our first video was honestly just us sitting down with a computer camera explaining what Velocity Banking even meant. We didn’t expect much. But people started commenting and asking real questions about how to use their own lines of credit or how to structure their cash flow. From that point, we committed to learning, documenting, and teaching.
We’ve always had the philosophy that if our journey helps even one person, it’s worth it. Over time, our message has reached thousands of people, and now we’re expanding to include more about the investment side of cash flow management—what to do after you’ve built extra cash flow through Velocity Banking.
